5 of the Best Facial Cleansers (Drugstore)

Hey you! How's your week going? I'm happy because it's the first day of October! My birthday month! Any other October birthdays out there? Anyway, back to today's post! I'm so glad blogs exist because they can be a source of information. Growing up I didn't know that much about skin care. As a teen I used stuff for acne because I thought all teens had the same skin type, thanks to commercials. So wrong for my dry skin, but I've tested many a product since and forever am reading and studying ingredients. I get a little too excited in the skin care aisle. I often get recommendations for facial cleansers, and today I'm sharing a few of the best drugstore favorites. I have so many faves--let's consider this volume 1!

1: Dry--.If you have severely dry skin, Burt's Bees Cream Cleanser. I tend to use this in the winter months, as it is a thicker cleanser.

2: Acne--Neutrogena has a classic oil-free Acne Wash. While this is the original, the have a version for redness as well as a pink grapefruit one. I always recommend the entire acne wash line by them--love a gel cleanser for oily and acne-prone skin.

3: Natural--I had to mention the Neutrogena Naturals line. Have you tried these? These are really gentle cleansers that have no parabens, harsh chemical sulfates, dyes and more.

4. Sensitive--There's a reason Cetaphil is an award-winner time and time again. It's a very gentle formula that soothes and cleanses. And it's gentle enough for a baby's skin.

5. Oily--I have a lot of recommendations for this category, but the Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser is a really good one. It removes oil, dirt, and makeup right down to the pores. Normal and combo skin can use this too.

All products can be found at drugstores and online.

Thanks, y'all!

  9. The classic Neutrogena is my favorite of these, though I've tried some of the others, too. I still use the Oil-Free Acne Wash once/week for a deep clean :)

  10. I knew nothing about skin care as a teen either! I tended to strip my combination/oily skin, which resulted in more oil and more acne. Now I use Ponds Cold Cream, which I would recommend for people with my skin type on the other side of teen acne!
