IPSY Glam Bag for September (Video)

I can't believe October is nearly here AND that I'm finally feeling better enough to make a video. Yay all around! The videos you saw last week were from the beginning of the month. Anyway, I'm here to share what I received in my Ipsy Bag for September. Check it out:

  • Classic Beauty was the theme this month. Does this bag make you think that? I think the products reflect the concept more than the bag.
  • Skyn ICELAND Hydro Cool Firming Eye Pads--Pop these under your eyes for cooling relief and to lessen those bags.

  • Elizabeth Mott It's So Big Volumizing Mascara--If you have thinner lashes, give this a try.
  • J. Cat Beauty Lipstick--I received a nude shade.
  • Starlooks Obsidian Kohl Eye Pencil--A dark pencil liner for smokey eyes.
  • NYX Single Eye Shadow--I received this in Charcoal. Another great for smokey eyes.
  • Paper Sample of EM Cosmetics--Threw this out on accident, but I already own other shadows from this line and have reviewed them.

{swatches of shadow, lipstick, liner}

To see what I thought of each product,

  5. I like the bag but agree that it doesn't really reflect "classic beauty" too well. Cool collection of stuff, though! Glad you're feeling better, too!

  7. I am so unimpressed with Ipsy, it hurts. This month the only things I'm happy about are the mascara because it's awesome and the fact that Nyx is trading out my lame color. If Ipsy doesn't step it up next month, I'm breaking up with them..

  13. The lipstick looks fun like that light and it is a bit more of a gloss.

  15. I never thought about applying a berry colored lip liner under a nude lippie. I feel like most nudes look awful on me, and make me look dead. Great advice!

  17. I wouldn't say it's all classic stuff... but the makeup looks good on you! That bag looked like a bag we got during Target free bags when I saw it on Instagram :p
