Oxygen Beauty Spa: The Ultimate in Self-Care

Hey y'all! How has your week been?

More seriously, how has your heart been?

Let's chat.

I'm not gonna sit here and hide behind the screen, my words. Life lately has been tough. Lots of changes are going on around these parts--nothing bad, just a lot of changes in life all at once. I've had a lot of anxiety. And my natural reaction is to shut down, to hide, to disappear. I'm sure you've noticed my absence on here lately.

Instead, I've been focusing a lot of self-care. As the saying goes, if your cup is empty, you can't expect to be able to fill anyone else's. Think of all the people who depend on you during the day--you can't be the best version of you if you're feeling depleted.

Sure, we all know to light the candles, to do something that relaxes you. But I've been exploring other options, and one I've been really into lately is hydrotherapy. Think oxygenated water for beauty and wellness.

And it's working, y'all.

This isn't just a tub. It isn't a hot tub. It is an experience.

The Oxygen Beauty Spa is a personal health and beauty spa designed to be enjoyed whenever is convenient for you and in the privacy of your own space. It rejuvenates the health and beauty of your skin using a natural oxygen therapy treatment.

It can be used indoors or outside. Thanks to the filtration system there's clean, reusable water for any time you need that self-care. No wasting of gallons of water, like in a tub.

All you need is 20 minutes to see and feel a difference.

So why is this beneficial?

Oxygenated water therapy can rejuvenate dull skin, signs of aging, even fine lines and wrinkles.

It's basically like soaking in a cloud of oxygenated water. It's gentle and quiet.

I love the Oxygen Beauty Spa because it leaves me feeling not only relaxed, but hydrated. I don't feel depleted. My skin is so, so soft, y'all.

How does it work?

In minutes, the crystal clear water of the Oxygen Beauty Spa is transformed into a thick cloud of milky soft water that envelops you in micro bubbles. It is in this total immersion of highly oxygenated water that your skin breathes, comes alive, and regenerates to look and feel younger.

The micro bubbles are hundreds of times smaller than the pores of your skin and they penetrate deep beneath the skin surface to rejuvenate skin softness and collagen balance. Fine lines, wrinkles, and signs of aging are reduced. Skin softness and health improves. And it all simply comes from the improved delivery of the oxygen in our water to the surface of your skin.

At the water’s surface, wisps appear: they consist of an infusion of negatively charged ions wafting into the air surrounding your spa. These anions, released from the negatively charged microbubble implosions, are nature’s anti-depressants. They are known to improve serotonin levels in the brain promoting relaxation, deeper sleep and a greater sense of well-being.

I got a chance to meet the lovely presenter Shawn Diddy--check out her video below to see Oxygen Beauty Spa in action:

My most recent experience with the Oxygen Beauty Spa was at the Women's Expo, held over the weekend in Atlanta. I had helped my sister move and was tired and bruised from the trip. The weather was gross and I felt the same inside and outside as the weather. My skin was dry and lackluster. This was perfect and exactly what I needed. I feel rejuvenated, my skin was soft, and I was ready for the rest of my day.

All you need is 20 minutes.

  5. Oooh, I would totally do this! It looks so relaxing, and then to have all those benefits? Nice! There's a floating center nearby that I want to try too. I'd try anything to relax and recharge! I'm terrible with change and get situational anxiety too. I hope everything transitions smoothly for you!

I love that saying and use it all the time. But it's easier for me to say it, than to make me do it...ha ha.

  13. I was addicted to oxygen facials at Bliss Spa but I had to stop because I just couldn’t afford it anymore, It’s hard for me to find other places that have the same services. I’m sorry to hear that life has been hard lately Elle, but I promise this too will pass. I had a hard week also, I wanted to sleep all day and night but that's impossible with my schedule and my business. Self Care is so important it should be at the top of everybody’s list. OMG I need this bath ASAP

  16. That sounds amazing! My best friend got married this weekend and my muscles are sore from wearing heels and tearing up the dance floor. Anxiety sucks and taking time for yourself is so important. People who don't deal with it don't always understand that sometimes you just need a day to stay home, relax, and only talk to your dog. Some people don't see it for what it is. I can't not to go to work because my anxiety is really bad, but I'm excused for a cold. I'm keeping you in my prayers.

  23. I have gotten anxiety before and it is just terrible to deal with! My daughter had a really bad year with her asthma and it caused a lot of anxiety for me. :( I think pampering and taking care of yourself really does help. I have never heard of this, but it looks SO relaxing!!! I would love it!
