Oxygen Beauty Spa: The Ultimate in Self-Care

Hey y'all! How has your week been?

More seriously, how has your heart been?

Let's chat.

I'm not gonna sit here and hide behind the screen, my words. Life lately has been tough. Lots of changes are going on around these parts--nothing bad, just a lot of changes in life all at once. I've had a lot of anxiety. And my natural reaction is to shut down, to hide, to disappear. I'm sure you've noticed my absence on here lately.

Instead, I've been focusing a lot of self-care. As the saying goes, if your cup is empty, you can't expect to be able to fill anyone else's. Think of all the people who depend on you during the day--you can't be the best version of you if you're feeling depleted.

Sure, we all know to light the candles, to do something that relaxes you. But I've been exploring other options, and one I've been really into lately is hydrotherapy. Think oxygenated water for beauty and wellness.

And it's working, y'all.

This isn't just a tub. It isn't a hot tub. It is an experience.

The Oxygen Beauty Spa is a personal health and beauty spa designed to be enjoyed whenever is convenient for you and in the privacy of your own space. It rejuvenates the health and beauty of your skin using a natural oxygen therapy treatment.

It can be used indoors or outside. Thanks to the filtration system there's clean, reusable water for any time you need that self-care. No wasting of gallons of water, like in a tub.

All you need is 20 minutes to see and feel a difference.

So why is this beneficial?

Oxygenated water therapy can rejuvenate dull skin, signs of aging, even fine lines and wrinkles.

It's basically like soaking in a cloud of oxygenated water. It's gentle and quiet.

I love the Oxygen Beauty Spa because it leaves me feeling not only relaxed, but hydrated. I don't feel depleted. My skin is so, so soft, y'all.

How does it work?

In minutes, the crystal clear water of the Oxygen Beauty Spa is transformed into a thick cloud of milky soft water that envelops you in micro bubbles. It is in this total immersion of highly oxygenated water that your skin breathes, comes alive, and regenerates to look and feel younger.

The micro bubbles are hundreds of times smaller than the pores of your skin and they penetrate deep beneath the skin surface to rejuvenate skin softness and collagen balance. Fine lines, wrinkles, and signs of aging are reduced. Skin softness and health improves. And it all simply comes from the improved delivery of the oxygen in our water to the surface of your skin.

At the water’s surface, wisps appear: they consist of an infusion of negatively charged ions wafting into the air surrounding your spa. These anions, released from the negatively charged microbubble implosions, are nature’s anti-depressants. They are known to improve serotonin levels in the brain promoting relaxation, deeper sleep and a greater sense of well-being.

I got a chance to meet the lovely presenter Shawn Diddy--check out her video below to see Oxygen Beauty Spa in action:

My most recent experience with the Oxygen Beauty Spa was at the Women's Expo, held over the weekend in Atlanta. I had helped my sister move and was tired and bruised from the trip. The weather was gross and I felt the same inside and outside as the weather. My skin was dry and lackluster. This was perfect and exactly what I needed. I feel rejuvenated, my skin was soft, and I was ready for the rest of my day.

All you need is 20 minutes.

Lots of relaxation this weekend for me! Any big plans for you?

  1. I'm sorry to hear things have been feeling this way lately for you and I hope that things swing upwards soon - hang in there (as trite as that is, I really mean it!).

    Courtney ~ Sartorial Sidelines

  2. Self-care is wonderful way to counter stress. I hope things will get better soon. This treatment sounds like just what you needed. I would totally be up for trying something like this.

  3. I'm sorry to hear you've been going through a lot lately, and am sending over lots of *hugs* sweet friend.

  4. My goodness this looks AMAZING! Sorry to hear that you've been suffering Elle. Having anxiety is not nice. xx

  5. Oooh, I would totally do this! It looks so relaxing, and then to have all those benefits? Nice! There's a floating center nearby that I want to try too. I'd try anything to relax and recharge! I'm terrible with change and get situational anxiety too. I hope everything transitions smoothly for you!

  6. This sounds so lovely! I wish I had a big enough house for one of these! Or even a yard.

  7. I have yet to go to a spa ever since moving to Canada and god knows how much I need a pampering session!

  8. That sounds amazing! Especially I can't remember the last time I've been to a spa (never lol) so that would be a really fun experience.

  9. This sounds so relaxing and rejuvenating! How lovely! Hope you have a relaxing weekend for yourself!

  10. I feel like a lot of people are kind of in a funk right now. I'm sending you all the hugs!!! A relaxing experience like this can be good for the soul. I hope you have a great weekend!

  11. This sounds amazing!! Getting to relax while being pampered and rejuvenating your skin and mental health. Glad to hear it helped brighten your spirits. I suffer from anxiety too so I know the uneasy feeling.
    Have a great weekend lady!

  12. I hope life calms down for you soon, Elle!
I love that saying and use it all the time. But it's easier for me to say it, than to make me do it...ha ha.

  13. I was addicted to oxygen facials at Bliss Spa but I had to stop because I just couldn’t afford it anymore, It’s hard for me to find other places that have the same services. I’m sorry to hear that life has been hard lately Elle, but I promise this too will pass. I had a hard week also, I wanted to sleep all day and night but that's impossible with my schedule and my business. Self Care is so important it should be at the top of everybody’s list. OMG I need this bath ASAP

  14. I haven't tried anything like this before but it sounds amazing. I would love to have one of these at home but I'm not sure where I would put it haha. I definitely think doing things to look after yourself is so important though and I'm glad this has worked for you :) x

  15. We love you Elle! So great to see you! Ya' know....you could put an Oxygen Beauty Spa in your living room (That's where mine is)- lol! Just sayin'. We'll keep following you and it was GREAT to meet you!

  16. That sounds amazing! My best friend got married this weekend and my muscles are sore from wearing heels and tearing up the dance floor. Anxiety sucks and taking time for yourself is so important. People who don't deal with it don't always understand that sometimes you just need a day to stay home, relax, and only talk to your dog. Some people don't see it for what it is. I can't not to go to work because my anxiety is really bad, but I'm excused for a cold. I'm keeping you in my prayers.

  17. I suffer from anxiety too, so I can imagine what you must be going through. Sending hugs! Anxiety leave you feeling overwhelmed, but it does get better! The oxygen beauty spa sounds so nice and relaxing!

  18. I'm sorry that things have been tough for your lately - hoping that subsides soon!! This beauty spa sounds amazingly relaxing and fun - i'd like it in that beach oasis please!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  19. I need a spa day stat, goodness. That sounds like quite a lovely experience and it's good for you so win win.

  20. This sounds so amazing! I would seriously never want to move from that balcony. <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes

  21. Wow, it sounds so refreshing! I'd try it!

  22. Well this looks fantastic and something I want to do everyday! Hope your anxiety gets better. It's no fun to have both changes and anxiety! All will work out the way it should!

  23. I have gotten anxiety before and it is just terrible to deal with! My daughter had a really bad year with her asthma and it caused a lot of anxiety for me. :( I think pampering and taking care of yourself really does help. I have never heard of this, but it looks SO relaxing!!! I would love it!

  24. This sounds pretty great especially for those days when you really need to unwind, coz God knows we've all had days like that. Here's hoping things get less stressful, Elle. (((hugs)))

  25. Sounds great.. it is really important to remember to focus on self care.. something we so often overlook.
Hopefully life gets a little less stressful soon

  26. Oh my this looks AMAZING! Wow a hot tub on a balcolony that is something else. And I hear you about all the changes and anxiety.
