Popsugar Must Have Box: January

I'm back again for my monthly Popsugar Must Have Box! For $35/month, a big box of hand-selected goodies that are premium and full-sized is sent to your door. This was a birthday gift and I've enjoyed every month so far. Let's check out what I got this month:

  • FITNESS: Merrithew Stability Ball--Ah yes, this came last week as I failed my The 52 Project challenge. I've not used it yet, and if you use one, please let me know what you think.
  • FASHION: Remix Timebomb Watch--These come in a variety of colors and are easy to clean, plus there's a secret button that makes the watch light up like a disco. It's a huge watch, but cute. And you can find me in the dark!
  • BEAUTY: Epicuren Discovery Lip Balm--The lip balm has SPF 15 and soothing tea tree oil and aloe vera. This is the second, albeit much different, lip balm I've received, and I can't stand touching stuff in a tin. It just makes me less likely to use it. The tea tree oil is great but burns around my lips.
  • FOOD: Popbar Chocolate on a Stick--These are cute, delicious, and I received milk and dark chocolate ones. I actually used to make these for Christmas and shared the post here.
  • FOOD: Jet-Puffed Vanilla Mallow Bits--A perfect accompaniment for hot chocolate. These are like the marshmallows in cereal and you can add as MANY AS YOU WANT. Or eat from the box. Just sayin'.
  • EXTRAS: Think Think Bars--These are delicious and came in peanut butter, crunch caramel, and chocolate coconut, with the latter being my favorite.
  • EXTRAS: $15 off Casetagram--make a case for your Iphone/Ipad from your Instagram photos.
What new treats and products have you been loving lately?

  3. Alright well, sometimes we fail at our goals, but just get back up and try again. Fun stuff you got in this post.

Elle, stability balls are an amazing exercise companion. I've been using one for years. There are so many exercises that I could share with you that I feel have taken my body to the next level, especially for my abs. I never do crunches, those are for the dark ages. If you are really interested email me for some tips, but you should be able to find plenty on the internet to get you started. Love,

  9. i love my stability ball! i use it for my workouts and i use in instead of a bench when i lift weights (to improve balance and strengthen my core) and i also do raised/incline pushups on it.

you can also use it for ab exercises too.

  10. Now I'm hungry! It's a good thing you have the excercise ball to burn off the calories after eating those!

  11. I am a fan of those think thin bars. I don't eat them often but I like to take one to church because it's 3 hours and it's a good snack I can sneak a few bites of if I am hungry.

I've tried to use exercise balls in the past but my kids always take them and ruin them. I guess they are just too much of a temptation. Of course they end up ruining them.

  12. All of the snacks look delicious!

I've used the stability ball for core workouts (crunches and stuff). The ball is great and definitely intensifies the workout!

  15. Lovely review!

And I completely agree- lip balms/glosses in tins or pots turn me off; I hate the mess: "Where do I wipe my finger...?"

    Have a great week, doll!

  30. This stuff all looks great! I'm currently loving the pumpkin non-dairy creamer I bought around Thanksgiving to put in my hot chocolate. It makes it SO much better.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like lip stuff in tins! I just hate getting the oil on my fingers (and feeling paranoid that I'm leaving germs in the tin by using my fingers).

  31. my sister signed me up for this for Christmas and Jan was my first box. I love getting stuff like this in the mail! I don't get the ginormous watch but the kids like to make it light up. i thought the chocolate and the "think thin" bars were a funny combination :)

  32. lmao I can't blow up the ball #fail... I was excited to get more exercise in at home with it but the hand pump definitely is not working for me. LOVED the hot chocolate on the stick... so delicious. I shouldn't look at the calories. It was a pretty good box, some people didn't like their watch band colors but I was okay with mine :)
