Gift Guide: DIY Beauty Gifts

DIY Beauty Gifts

Since I've gotten so many DIY requests for Christmas gifts, I thought I'd share a few I've made this past year. As always, my criteria for a DIY are quick, cheap, and easy. This first batch of DIYs are all beauty-related and would be perfect for any girl on your list. These would make great stocking stuffers, a Secret Santa gift, or even as a Spa Day basket. Enjoy!

  • Holiday-Flavored Lip Plumpers--I recently featured this one, in case you missed it. This tutorial shows how to create Candy Cane and Cinnamon Bun-flavored chapsticks
  • Funfetti Fizzies--these are bath bombs I made for Valentine's Day that have festive confetti when they dissolve. These can easily can modified to fit Christmas (think colors, shapes, or even add glitter...if you wanna be glitter-fied!).
  • Solid Perfume--this is the best idea for traveling or your purse. And you ca add whatever scent you'd like. These could be holiday-scented too!
  • Brown Sugar Body Scrub--when I saw a store selling something similar for $30, I knew I could make my own, and I did. Put in a cute decorated jar.
PS: I'm guest posting over at Popcorn, Pugs, and Peonies. Pop over & see my picks for Holiday Glitz!

  1. The price of body scrubs are ludicrous! Especially when you can make your own for next to nothing.

  33. I've just read your DIY instructions for all four products. Love it. I've only ever done the sugar rub (which I love). I often use coconut oil (from Pure Fiji) instead of baby oil. It's just magical. Love the heart shaped fizzies!
