Scenes From the Weekend!

Whew! I'm home after a 5 hour drive to see my family, so sorry for the late post! I had planned on being home Sunday, but stayed an extra night instead.

Since my Ipod's kuput, I packed around 500 cds for the 5-hour drive. I like variety!

I left the city and ended up in the country, on a long barren highway.

The crepe myrtle in my Mom's front yard. I miss all of the trees and greenery (but not the allergies!).

The World's Cutest Nephew #2 was skeptical of me trying to read him a book. Apparently I don't do the voices of the characters the same as his Mommy!

Minus Friday, it stormed the entire time with hail and flooding. We stayed in, I cooked (and we all survived), and Mom dyed my sister's hair, which parts of came out orange instead of blonde. I wasn't allowed to post pics of that!

We did get to see the partial eclipse! Not bad for a camera phone!

And I ended the drive with a car wash. My car needed it! Bugs and pollen, be gone!

So that was my wonderfully boring weekend with my family. I haven't seen them since April!
