Best Facial Exfoliating Peel Pads

Y'all, I'm back! I had to take the day off since Charlie had an upset tummy and I had a migraine, but I'm back and I'm super excited about today's post! I really, really hope people read this post! It's been 9 months in the making! I know--facial peel pads don't make for the most interesting subject, but they are SO GOOD y'all. Trust me.

So the basics--there are all sorts of products that come on cotton pads--I think makeup remover pads or Stridex are ones that comes to mind (beauty hack: I use these to exfoliate my feet), but today I want to focus on peel pads. The name sounds like your skin is going to peel off--no, no, these are exfoliating pads. And they're great for easy skincare (most use glycolic acid for exfoliation), great for all skin types, plus they come in a huge range of prices. You just wipe them on and you're done! Instant soft skin!

I spent nine months testing every exfoliating peel pad on the market. From that huge list, these are the ones I deem the best for each category.

DRUGSTORE--these can be found online, in drugstores or Target

  4. I tried the ones by Dr. Dennis Gross and loved them but couldn't justify paying that price. I'm on my second container of L'Oreal, using them 4-5 days a week. They're large, so I cut them in half to make the container last even longer!

I will definitely check out some of the others under $25, thank you!

  7. I've heard of the MicroDelivery ones and I even think I got a sample once. I'd love to try the Pixi ones, I love everything from them. The wine one sounds fun! You should do a post about peels for under the eyes (are the called peels?)- I've been wanting to do some research on those!

  20. Hi thank you for the post :) I've been using the Pixi ones and I can really see a difference! I just have a question, do I need to wash my face after with cold water as it says or can I just spray a hidrating toner?

  21. I've been wanting to try Pixi Glow tonic but I've had no luck finding it in Target so that's why I haven't tried it yet. I'm curious about the pads as well, because I guess that would be even simpler.

  24. Wow, you put so much effort into this post Elle and I really appreciate all the research you have done for it :) I haven't tried exfoliating pads before as I tend to use Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clarifying Lotion which sounds similar to some of these but is in a liquid form that I apply to a cotton pad myself. I am definitely adding a few of these to my shopping list to try out though as they seem to quick and easy to use. x

  25. I'm a big fan of Pixi products. I'm going to have to try out those peel pads. Great review on all the different brands out there. I've never tried peel pads but my skin could always use some exfoliating and deep cleaning without going to the spa for a facial.

  26. I've tried a similar product before, but it was too much for my sensitive skin. I broke out so I've been hesitant to try them again.

  27. I totally remember Stridex! They would tear my skin up! I'd be red for an entire day afterwards, but it's what I thought I was supposed to do in junior high! Haha! I totally want to use them on my feet now. I think I'm gonna pick up Pixi the next time I'm at Target. I usually like all their stuff and it seems like it'd work on my sensitive skin.

  28. I just recently repurchased the Nip Fab pads. I totally forgot how great they worked and how quickly you see results! Need to add some of these other ones to the list! Especially the Pixi ones. They have been impressing me with their products. (:
