Best Facial Exfoliating Peel Pads

Y'all, I'm back! I had to take the day off since Charlie had an upset tummy and I had a migraine, but I'm back and I'm super excited about today's post! I really, really hope people read this post! It's been 9 months in the making! I know--facial peel pads don't make for the most interesting subject, but they are SO GOOD y'all. Trust me.

So the basics--there are all sorts of products that come on cotton pads--I think makeup remover pads or Stridex are ones that comes to mind (beauty hack: I use these to exfoliate my feet), but today I want to focus on peel pads. The name sounds like your skin is going to peel off--no, no, these are exfoliating pads. And they're great for easy skincare (most use glycolic acid for exfoliation), great for all skin types, plus they come in a huge range of prices. You just wipe them on and you're done! Instant soft skin!

I spent nine months testing every exfoliating peel pad on the market. From that huge list, these are the ones I deem the best for each category.

  1. I am obsessed with exfoliating facial pads! I love how they make my skin look and feel. My favorite is the Cane and Austin ones, but I will definitely be checking out some of the other brands. The Pixi ones are on my list for the next time I go to Target!

    Peaches In A Pod

  2. I haven't used a facial pad since Stridex years ago. I'm going to have to try these! The Shea Moisture is a great price point and I'm also interested in the Peter Thomas Roth!

    Doused In Pink

  3. What a list here! I have been using Pixi's pads and have liked them a lot. I need to check out some of these others like the one by Dennis Gross. Thanks for sharing all of these Elle!

  4. I tried the ones by Dr. Dennis Gross and loved them but couldn't justify paying that price. I'm on my second container of L'Oreal, using them 4-5 days a week. They're large, so I cut them in half to make the container last even longer!

I will definitely check out some of the others under $25, thank you!

  5. I've tried a few I got as samples, but I don't even remember what brand they are now. These all sound like such a treat for your skin!

  6. I've only tried a peel pad once before, but I did love how my skin felt after. Should get one for a weekend night of pampering!

  7. I've heard of the MicroDelivery ones and I even think I got a sample once. I'd love to try the Pixi ones, I love everything from them. The wine one sounds fun! You should do a post about peels for under the eyes (are the called peels?)- I've been wanting to do some research on those!

  8. I need to try this strydex on the feet thing, genius! I have a Dr. Dennis Goss one in my to try drawer. I need to check out that Pixi one to start out at a low price point.

  9. I stick to my old trusty Nip+Fab peels, the night version though. I don't think I'm willing to spend anymore than that.

  10. Oh my goodness, I love how many of these you found for us as I need some good exfoliating pads. I can't wait to look for some of these and give them a try. Have a beautiful day

  11. Ahhh so many to chose from!!!! So, I had watched a skin care video on youtube boasting about some pads and it made me want to try some so your post has hit at the perfect time!!! Now I am trying to decide out of your favorites which ones I want to try? I like the price and what you said about Pixi so I am leaning towards those unless you suggest something else for me. Fine line and breakouts over here. Thanks for all your research!!!!

  12. I love the pixi ones!! I got them after you recommended them. You know your makeup girl!

  13. I'm currently using the night version of the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix and the Pixi and Neogen pads are next on my list to try. Good to know you love them both!

  14. I’m sorry to hear you had a migraine, those are the worst. I’ma huge fan of exfoliating pads so I’m pretty exciting about this post. I’ve used Incredi-peel from Bliss and really loved it.

  15. I've not tried one... but I need to - I need to try anything that will help with this aging skin

  16. I haven't tried any of these, but the Pixi ones sound great!

  17. I've never tried anything like this before, but I may have to try one of these. You know me, I'll start with the cheapest ones :)

  18. I have never tried a peel pad! I definitely need to try one now! Sounds interesting!

    Upbeat Soles

  19. I had a sample pack of the first aid beauty ones! I really liked them and I'm interested in trying more of these. I've heard great things about the nip+fab and pixi ones. And I'm glad to hear the Shea Moisture ones are good! I really like that brand and am into the natural/organic skin care products. I'm definitely going to try those out!

  20. Hi thank you for the post :) I've been using the Pixi ones and I can really see a difference! I just have a question, do I need to wash my face after with cold water as it says or can I just spray a hidrating toner?

  21. I've been wanting to try Pixi Glow tonic but I've had no luck finding it in Target so that's why I haven't tried it yet. I'm curious about the pads as well, because I guess that would be even simpler.

  22. I rarely use these products, but now that I'm getting old, I should be better to my skin! Thanks for the extensive research, Elle! I'm pinning this for later!!

  23. I really like the Nip+ Fab Glycolic Pads that I am using right now. The Shea Moisture ones sound nice too. I have samples of the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta® Universal Daily Peel and like them.

  24. Wow, you put so much effort into this post Elle and I really appreciate all the research you have done for it :) I haven't tried exfoliating pads before as I tend to use Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clarifying Lotion which sounds similar to some of these but is in a liquid form that I apply to a cotton pad myself. I am definitely adding a few of these to my shopping list to try out though as they seem to quick and easy to use. x

  25. I'm a big fan of Pixi products. I'm going to have to try out those peel pads. Great review on all the different brands out there. I've never tried peel pads but my skin could always use some exfoliating and deep cleaning without going to the spa for a facial.

  26. I've tried a similar product before, but it was too much for my sensitive skin. I broke out so I've been hesitant to try them again.

  27. I totally remember Stridex! They would tear my skin up! I'd be red for an entire day afterwards, but it's what I thought I was supposed to do in junior high! Haha! I totally want to use them on my feet now. I think I'm gonna pick up Pixi the next time I'm at Target. I usually like all their stuff and it seems like it'd work on my sensitive skin.

  28. I just recently repurchased the Nip Fab pads. I totally forgot how great they worked and how quickly you see results! Need to add some of these other ones to the list! Especially the Pixi ones. They have been impressing me with their products. (:
