Too Faced Brow Quickie Vs. Benefit Gimme Brow: This or That?

It has been a minute since I've done a This or That, where I compare two similar products in price and perhaps quality, to see if one is better than the other. This isn't necessarily a dupe post (there will be one next week!) since they are pretty close in price. Today I'm comparing Too Faced Brow Quickie Vs. Benefit Gimme Brow.

Too Faced Brow Quickie

  • New product
  • Sephora, ULTA, online
  • $22
  • .17 oz
  • A 12-hour wear, waterproof, brush-on brow fiber gel to fill in sparse brows.
  • 2 shades
  • larger brush compared to Benefit
Too Faced Brow Quickie
  • New packaging (see comparison to old packaging below)
  • Sephora, Ulta, online
  • $24
  • .1 oz
  • An award-winning, brow-volumizing fiber gel that mimics the look of real hair for fuller-looking brows.
  • 3 shades
  • smallest brush

FYI: This is the new vs old Gimme Brow. The product is the exact same, just the packaging changed.

Benefit Gimme Brow

Swatches of each--Too Faced is on top

Brush size comparison--TF on your left, B on your right

  • Wand--Benefit
  • Firmness--Too Faced, but could get crunchy easier
  • Pigmentation/Thicker--Benefit
  • Wear--same
  • Overall, I am still a Benefit fan--the biggest issue is the brush from TF. It's still too big for me, but it's worth a try if you have larger brows.
Have you tried either of these products?

  6. good comparison! i am a benefit hog through and through and i saw that whole new packaging for brow stuff but i can't get over just using plain old shadow and clear mascara over top to set it. it works well!

  7. I don't like big brushes when it comes to brow mascaras... much harder to get a precise application so I'm liking the sounds of the Benefit one:) Thanks as always for doing these and saving us some $$$!

  8. I've debated the Benefit product but the shades are always too dark for me! May give it another whirl. Have you tried Glossier? I like their brow product!

  10. I agree that the Benefit brush size is a game changer! I can actually use it without it ending up everywhere...easier to do on the go or really quick!

  11. Smaller brush would definitely give a more natural appearance, which is a must when it comes to the eyebrows!

  12. Neither for me as I am more than happy with Essence Make Me Brow which I plan to repurchase again soon.

  13. This is a great comparison, Elle. I think I would like the Benefit more too all because of the size of the wand. I feel like I could probably be more accurate with a smaller brush!

  14. Brows are the new IT THING aren't they?
I think I need to give more attention to mine - I get them waxed once every 6 weeks & that's about all the mind I give them.

  15. Both look like they did a good job. I'm trying a few new Benefit products and like how they perform.

  16. I was so close to picking up the benefit one two weeks ago! I have two open brow products at home and I promised myself I'd use them up before purchasing something else. Looks like I'm going with Benefit!

  21. So is it sad that I do absolutely nothing to my brows except a little grooming pluck now and then?! I probably should up my game and learn what to do with them lol.

  30. I've never tried any of these yet, but in my collection I got a pencil from Aloette and Loreal version of two faced one. I find the Loreal brow plumper so nice even it's great for your piggy bank too !!

  32. You have perfect brows. I don't think I've ever said that!

  33. I haven't tried the Too Faced product, but I love the Benefit Gimme Brow. I'm using the Essence Make Me Brow right now and it's a great dupe for the Gimme Brow.

  34. I never use anything on my brows, except from a chapstick sometimes, thanks to your recommendation :) But not always. But now when you compared Too Faced and Benefit, I think I would like to try the Too Faced one because it's waterproof, lasts a good amount of hours and is not so pigmented as Benefit! Always a great review!

  36. Other than getting them waxed regularly, I have to admit that I do nothing otherwise to my brows. Sad! I've never tried either of these but I do think I need to start doing SOMETHING with my brows, ha!

  37. From brow picture I'm also loving benefit more :)

  38. I would pick up the Benefit for sure - my eyebrows are not that big!
