DIY Leave-In Conditioner And DIY Detangling Spray

Hey you! Happy weekend to us! Do you have any big plans? I'll be staying home, but I wish I had a trip planned (as usual). Speaking of travel, something that is always in my suitcase is an empty bottle or spray bottle (I mentioned that tip here in my Best Beach Tips post). I use these for so many things, like the two DIYs I'm sharing today. These are so easy to make and can save you money. Enjoy.

DIY Leave-In Conditioner:
  • Add one part conditioner to two parts hot water in a bottle. Make sure the top is closed and shake well. Apply to hair as needed. Shake before using.
DIY Detangling Spray:
  • Add a tbsp or two to an average-sized spray bottle and fill the rest with hot water. Make sure the spray attachment is attached, shake well and spray as needed. Shake before using.
FYI:
-Apply at ear lobe level or just on the ends. If you have oily hair, then these might not be for you.
-I suggest using a thinner conditioner for these recipes. Make sure it is a scent you like since these products aren't (usually...see below) washed out.
- I like using either one of these on wet (or dry hair) before getting in the sun, like at the beach or pool.
-I also use these as a conditioning treatment and leave in for 20-30 minutes before washing out.
-While these ratios have always worked for me, when in doubt, add more water and shake!
-I like using either one of these if I am out of shaving cream.

  19. this is actually a great way to use up the bit of leftovers in the bottle. for us, shampoo usually runs out first, then we have conditioner left over.
