How To: Highlight--Spring Awakening Edition

First off, did you enter my giveaway

Spring Awakening is that transition from the damaging winter into softer spring. Last week I mentioned a great product to bring back glossy hair. This week, I'll show you how to make your face look radiant.

All you need is a facial highlighter! I've tried just about every brand, with my favorite being any highlighter from Benefit $26 and up (High Beam is a fave), or ELF's Radiance Enhancer, which is around $3 and comes in three shades.

You can use this in so many ways! I'll share just a few. Let's start with the eyes:

To make your face and eyes look brighter, put around 4 or 5 stripes of the highlighter near your eyes. I would add another stripe onto the top stripe, actually. Pat the product in. Don't rub or use a sponge. Just pat! And let's just ignore the no-makeup face and no-mascara eyes for the rest of this post, k?

You can also apply highlighter right under the brows and blend in. I also will blend in a teeny bit around my tear ducts.

To make lips larger, dab in some highlighter right above the Cupid's Bow. Also, put some right under the bottom lip, parallel to the Cupid's Bow. That's it!

Next week, I'll put it all together with an easy, pretty spring look. Stay tuned!

PS: I'm still taking requests for my
 Reader Request Week...coming soon!
