Each month I’m doing a different resolution, in the hopes that I’ll be able to stick to them. See my past resolutions here.
For May, I’m cleaning out my closets and doing some major spring cleaning! Even though I moved to Atlanta almost 2 years ago, I’ve still got bags of clothes that I need to go through. While I’m anxious to show you my closet, I’m even more excited to for end result. I'll be remixing some of my past outfits as well on the blog. Wish me luck & I’ll see you again next month!
For April, I decided to up my style a bit—to step outside of my style comfort zone. I have to say this was a fun and kinda scary challenge. Who knew?
WOULD I DO THIS AGAIN? Yes, I would! While I think it’s important to define your personal style, it’s imperative to mix things up every now and again—to try something new. Here are some of the style changes I decided to make:
Tights—yes, but not crazy-colored tights, just black tights.
Colorblocking—yes, see outfit here
Glitter—yes, as eyeshadow, but I looked ridiculous. It lasted about 15 min.
Wear shorts w.tights—nope. I'm too old to pull this off!
Wide-leg trousers—yes, see outfit here
Turtleneck with jewelry—yes, see outfit here
Red lipstick—no but wore red lip gloss here
hippie headband—yes, but felt ridiculous
