Product Review: Morning Burst In-Shower Facial

One of my fave, fave products was Prescriptives Instant Gratification. Since moving to Atl, I've noticed how awful my skin is--dry and dull--and this product was a life-saver. This self-heating mask did wonders for my persnickety skin. It was the only product that wouldn't cause me to break out, but the $45 price and the fact that it's going out of business, would cause anyone to break out. Luckily, I found a replacement that's pretty good: Clean & Clear Morning Burst In-Shower Facial. It retails for about $5.99 and can be purchased online (see link above) or at Target/Wal-Mart/K-Mart, drugstores, etc.

Simply slap it on, enjoy the citrus smell, and a minute later, rub it in and rinse off. It attacks the dry skin and clears the pores as it uses the steam in your shower. It doesn't heat up (Clean & Clear used to make one that did, but has been reformulated as Morning Burst) but it works pretty well. I didn't break out and my skin felt soft afterwards.

Elle's Tip: This is part of a line of Morning Burst products--so look for the IN-SHOWER part. I use it weekly to stretch my dollar, but it can be used daily. Also, since it has AHA, you might want to avoid the sun/spf it up if you burn easily. This product was purchased by me. Pic from drusgtore.com.
