Ipsy June 2014

It's that time of the month...where I share my monthly Ipsy glam bag. For $10, you get a bag full of beauty goodies. And you can sign up here using my affiliate code if you'd like. Let's see what I got:


The theme: Pretty in Paradise
The bag: designed by Rebecca Minkoff
NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee--light and lovely
OFRA Eyebrow Pencil--It's good
Realtree for Her Fragrance--Liked it
Be a Bombshell Masacara--Smelled, but worked fine
Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray--Smells like a pina colada and has a lot of hold to it.
-Overall, I found something positive in everything I received.

    I totally thought the bombshell mascara smelled too!! It worked okay, but I think I'll stick with my own kind.

    I was so disappointed this month in my Ipsy bag. The beach spray and the mascara was decent but nothing I would switch from my favorites. :( Glad you liked what you got though.

    This is the first time I've seen an Ipsy bag that I'd be all for purchasing. I mean, the bag itself would be worth $10 to me. Looks like the perfect size for a carry-along makeup bag.

    I don't think I can ever bring myself to sign up however because so many of the products each month do not seem to fit my style or needs. Oh well, at least I can see what you get every month.

    I read a lot of negative feedback on that Be A Bombshell mascara. I got it and it smelled like sharpie markers to me, not sure if I will be using it.

    This Ipsy bag was the first time I ever tried "beachy waves" in my fine, super straight hair & the beach spray totally worked! I'm so excited.
    So now I'll have to give your vanilla recipe a try when I run out! :)

    Ipsy looks fantastic to me every month but I'm on a budget right now and can't afford to sign up for it just yet. I love that the bag is designed by Rebecca Minkoff and that is so exciting that you got something from NYX!
