Product Test Drive: Fake Bake Lipo Bronze

I get sent a lot of things for review, and I try to share only products that worked for me (or that would work for you instead). Today I have a self-tanning product that I'm thrilled to share. It gives the appearance of diminishing cellulite but it also gives legs a nice, natural glow. Fake Bake is a line of self-tanning products with botanically extracted ingredients. They have a full-range of products that moisturize, hydrate, and most of all, give a great looking tan. I had the opportunity to review their Fake Bake Lipo Bronze. It works! Check it out:

FAKE BAKE PRODUCTS:
  • No preservatives or parabens
  • Won't clog pores or irritate sensitive skin
  • Will not turn skin orange--guaranteed
  • Instantly tans without streaking--guaranteed
  • Includes applicator glove
  • No bad odor--guaranteed
  • Won't stain clothes--guaranteed
  • Consistently rated #1 best self-tanner by many
  • Doesn't wash off but fades
  • Can be used to accelerate traditional tanning
  • Takes 20 min to dry
LIPO BRONZE:
  • I applied this daily to my legs, but other Fake Bake products are generally applied weekly.
  • I used this for about 6 weeks.
  • It came with a glove, but I liked using a mitt to make application faster.
  • It was chocolate brown for application, didn't smell, and was easy to apply.
  • I followed the directions on the tube and noticed results within almost 3 weeks.
  • I had a nice bronze color that looked natural, but never got super dark. But again, the key here is natural. I looked like I "had color."
  • I do have around grade 2 soft cellulite on the upper back of my legs and that's why I wanted to try this product. I took before and after pics, but don't feel comfortable sharing them here.
  • But please trust me, when I say that this really worked. The lines on my right leg were gone and the left leg was much less noticeable. I was really surprised to see results.
  • Once I ran out of product, everything returned to its former state, but it certainly looked more firm and toned when I was using it. I highly recommend this!!!
  • Retails $29.95

  1. I will have to give this a try! If you're big into self tanners, I found a great one! It's the Clinique Self Sun! xo

  2. I'm always a little afraid of sunless tanner, ever since an orange experience in high school that was particularly scarring. I trust your reviews though, and this sounds awesome! I love all your tips and reviews :)

  3. I find self-tanning products are always a hit-or-miss. I tried a few when I was younger, and it didn't turn out so great all the time. Good to know this one works:)

  8. It's so hard finding a good tanning product. I usually end up looking like a pumpkin! I may have to give this a shot.
